"Teaching Them to Observe All That I Commanded You"
God has placed His seal upon us as a marker indicating His ownership. Christians are the personal property of God and are given the guarantee of His ownership through the indwelling Holy Spirit. They are given God's seal and are anointed to shine as lights of righteousness to expose the wicked deeds of those who are in darkness.
Christ instituted the Church as His own precious possession to fulfill the Great Commission by declaring His Gospel to a world that is lost in spiritual darkness. The members of His Church are not meant to be a closed society concerned only with the needs of the congregation. They were chosen as a Royal Priesthood to be the lights of the world that engages the Kingdom of Darkness which opposes the rule and reign of God in this world.
The Kingdom of Light is still on the earth opposing the Kingdom of Darkness, and now it shines even brighter in the face of greater darkness. This time of darkness is only for a season, and God is using it to magnify His glory through the death and resurrection of His Son.
