Biblical Truth and Discipleship
Just like the visions of Zechariah, the visions of Ezekiel provide a glimpse behind the veil that separates the physical world and the spiritual world. These visions often presented physical images of spiritual realities that the prophets struggled to explain.
Righteousness is not extended to those who are unrepentant and still under the curse of sin. It can only be accessed by true faith in Christ and acceptance of His death as the payment for the penalty of sin on their behalf. Good deeds, or being a good person does nothing for the forgiveness of sin and therefore cannot merit righteousness.
"One can only cringe at the “wrath of God” that awaits those public officials in government who, by passing legislation which not only does not restrain evil but in fact encourages it, have made it possible for millions to yield to the temptation to sin."
Prophets are the mouthpiece of God, conveying God's opinions, reactions, intentions, and very words.
“When those in high office say that it is ridiculous to expect a man to obey a law that he does not like, they are advocating lawlessness. And when one whose office it is to uphold law and order advocates rebellion because the law does not suit him, he is promoting Satan’s great purpose in the world today, to destroy nations by producing lawlessness.”
