The Spirit of Truth is the Holy Spirit who has been sent by Christ into the world after His resurrection to guide believers into all truth. In His work of illumination, the Spirit brings God's revelation to mankind, and He also reveals it to believers so that they can understand the deep things of God.

Spiritual growth is the process of achieving maturity in the faith, by gaining wisdom, knowledge, and a spiritual union with Christ through the work and power of the Holy Spirit.
